Ridley has a simple development philosophy: building the best bikes in the world! The blueprint of each design is always from the same perspective. Cycling enthusiasts, professionals, bicycle clubs, all have the same desire: Cycling on the best and fastest bike in the world.
All our frames are designed according to the philosophy "form follows function". Each tube shape, frame construction and geometry has a specific meaning. From the start, reliability, strength and stiffness of the essence of our designs. For different tube shapes, we are inspired by nature. For example in our road range a water droplet shape is featured in our aero shape.
At Ridley, we have mainly focused on aerodynamics in the last years. Our bikes were already as stiff as possible, and lighter than the UCI limit. So we decided that we could make the most progress in terms of aerodynamics. This resulted in three unique patents(F-Brake, F-Splitfork and F-Surface), which together form the FAST concept. The Ridley Noah FAST underwent several wind tunnel tests which showed that this was the fastest bike in the world, and it still is!
As a Belgian manufacturer, it is obviously very nice to be part of the prestigious project that the Lotto-Belisol Team has started. Because this team clearly profiles itself as Belgian, we found that a Belgian bicycle was missing. Our slogan "We are Belgium" is consistent with the policy of the team! Lotto has been a big name for decades in professional cycling, and we strive together for a long term relationship. We have no doubt that together with the Lotto-Belisol Team we have some great years ahead of us!
