Jürgen Roelandts: "I'm very happy with evolution of the race today. Halfway the race we got in front with ten riders. A bit later, three got away, including Maxime Vantomme and Matthew Brammeier. Three kilometers before the finish line, I made the jump and once I joined them, I went for all or nothing. In the sprint is was beaten, just having closed that gap. In normal circumstances I think I would win this race, but being my first race again, I'm more than happy with the result and level. We raced with an average of 45,5km/h for about four hours and that gives me confidence for the Tour of Belgium, starting next Wednesday."
